Questions people ask

Do I need to bring ID or prove my income?

No. Anyone who needs food is welcome, as often as once a week. We ask for your first name and how many people you’re shopping for, so we know how much to give, and that’s all.

Can someone pick up for me?

Yes. Send a friend or family member with your first name. If nobody can come, ask about home delivery.

What kind of food is there?

Fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, milk and eggs most weeks, plus tins, pasta, rice, cereal and baby food. What’s on the tables changes with what’s donated.

Is there food for special diets?

Tell a volunteer at the door. We keep a shelf of gluten-free, low-sugar and halal food, and we’ll do our best.
